Who should submit proposals to implement the Coordination Office action?
A consortium of maximum five EEN member host organisations with adequate EU geographic representation, fairly distributed budget and well-founded regional knowledge and experience related to the scope including widening countries.
Are EIC Booster grants subject to a call?
No. In line with Article 47(2) of the Horizon Europe Regulation, the EIC Booster grants are not subject to any call.
Can EIC Booster grants fund research already foreseen in the original project or activities obtainable through other EIC services?
No. These grants do not fund research or activities already foreseen in the original project or activities that can be obtained from other EIC services, in particular Business Acceleration Services.
Can national or regional funding bodies choose not to implement the Plug-in scheme or delay implementation?
Yes, they may decide not to implement the scheme or to introduce it at a later stage; coordination among funding bodies is required to avoid duplication of proposals.
Can the Commission withdraw a programme's certification for the Plug-in scheme?
Yes. The Commission may withdraw certification if false information was used to obtain it or if the project review did not comply with the provisions set out in the EIC Work Programme.
Can the EIC Programme Manager request preliminary findings and results from awardees for portfolio activities?
Yes. At any time the EIC Programme Manager may request awardees to make available information on preliminary findings and results through the EIC Marketplace, subject to confidentiality rules and conditions in the Work Programme.
How are applications for EIC Booster grants assessed?

What is the maximum amount and limits for EIC Booster grants?
EIC Booster grants have fixed amounts of up to EUR 50,000. A maximum of three Booster grants can be awarded per EIC Pathfinder project (more only in exceptional, duly justified cases) and a maximum of one Booster grant per EIC Transition project.
What role do EIC Plug-in contact points have in the certification process?
EIC Plug-in contact points (representatives of Member States and Associated Countries) must provide accurate information and all key elements about their programmes; only programmes with all required information provided will be considered for certification.
