What are the Fast Track and Plug-in schemes for applying to the EIC Accelerator?

Answer
Fast Track: a scheme for proposals stemming from existing Horizon Europe or Horizon 2020 projects where a funding body conducts a project review using award criteria equivalent to the EIC Accelerator short stage and independent evaluation; if criteria are met (excellence and impact, no duplication of funding, applicant eligibility) the funding body may submit the review outcome and the applicant is invited to prepare a full proposal to a cut-off within 12 months, receiving support via the EIC AI platform and coaching. Plug-in: a similar pilot scheme applying to proposals from national or regional programmes, with the project review implemented by the funding/managing body or an appointed authority and the same conditions and support for invited applicants.
