How are BAS delivered and accessed?
Services are available through the EIC Community platform or provided via the EIC Fund or partner organisations.
How many coaching days are provided to eligible groups?
EIC Accelerator applicants invited to submit a full application, Seal of Excellence companies, and all EIC funded projects and companies will receive 3 coaching days.
What are the EIC Board honoraria and related rules?

What are the EIC Business Acceleration Services (BAS)?
BAS are tailor-made services provided to EIC researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs to accelerate innovations and growth, including coaching, mentoring, expertise and training, access to global partners, and access to the innovation ecosystem and peers.

What are the three main pillars of EIC BAS?

What external expertise and monitoring support is funded in 2021?

Who can access unprotected preliminary findings on the EIC Market Place?
Access to unprotected preliminary findings and results is limited to EIC beneficiaries, inventors and vetted investors bound by non-disclosure obligations; there is also a more open module for dissemination of protected results and publications.

Who provides coaching and mentoring?
Qualified, experienced business coaches, entrepreneurs and investors. Specific mentoring is provided for companies receiving EIC blended finance in coordination with the EIC Fund.
Are applicants offered coaching services?

Can research proposals directed towards nuclear energy applications be submitted to the EIC?
No. Research proposals within the scope of Annex I to the Euratom Treaty directed towards nuclear energy applications must be submitted to relevant calls under the Euratom Framework Programme.
How are large investment requests (> EUR 15 million) handled in the 2022 pilot phase?
In the 2022 pilot phase projects with a more than EUR 15 million investment request cannot represent more than 15% of the budget over the year and will be submitted to the EIC / EIE Programme Committee for opinion.
How will personal data be processed by the EIC?
All personal data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data.
If I previously received grant-only support, can I apply for the investment component only?
Yes. If you have received previous grant-only support you may apply for investment-component-only support. You may also request grant-only or grant-first in specified circumstances relating to past Horizon 2020 support or a completely new proposal.
